Bernard Butler (natural East London, 1970) is a musician & record producer. He number one achieved fame within 1992 as the guitarist with Suede, at the period an instant phenomenon in the UK. He co-wrote & played "guitars and things" in each track until 1994, when he left Suede across portable tensions in a band when you took a recording of their 2nd album, Dog Man Star. He was replaced by Richard Oakes.

Fallowing an unsuccessful collaboration by owning previous All About Eve singer Julianne Regan, Butler formed the duo McAlmont and Butler with David McAlmont, a soul singer with the 3-octave range. It freed 2 singles, Yes & Your family Run, prior to stock split acrimoniously. An album, A Healthy of McAlmont & Butler, was discharged when a split. Butler briefly joined The Verve in 1997 after their guitarist, Nick McCabe, temporarily left the band. He went in to release 2 albums under his have title, Humans Move In & Friends & Lovers, prior to making higher by using McAlmont for another McAlmont & Butler album, Bring it Back, & 2 singles, Falling & Bring it Back.

Since so Butler has healed his rift sustaining previous Suede singer Brett Anderson, forming a recently band, the Tears. A Tears freed their extremely awaited debut LP, Here Come The Tears, produced by Butler, inside June 2005. Singles include Refugees, which reached #9 in the UK charts, & Lovers.

Inside between his have projects he has played in & produced records by Sparks, Edwyn Collins, Aimee Mann, Neneh Cherry, Tim Booth (formerly of James), the Manic Street Preachers, Eddi Reader, Hopper, Roy Orbison, Bert Jansch and The Libertines. He created the sountrack to the 1997 film The James Gang & played on the soundtrack of Velvet Goldmine, alongside Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood of Radiohead. He has played swallow The Cranberries, Paul Weller and Teenage Fanclub.

Butler list previous Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr as his major inspiration. More likely influences include guitar player Peter Green, George Harrison and Steve Howe and producer Phil Spector. He is typically in comparison Neil Young, although Young's rough-edged, stripped down healthy can hardly exist as extra different to Butler's in an elaborate way layered, "Wall of Sound" arrangements: Creation Records boss Alan McGee, promoting Butler's first solo album, utilized Young for instance of the previous sideman with success moving to centre-stage.
